This week I'm working on the play Doubt by John Patrick Shanley.

90 minutes. No intermission. 'Nuff said.
Last night Michael Stipe was in the audience. I saw his bald head from the distance but I didn't get to see his face. Of the 6 ushers that were working the floor only 1 recognized - one was too old and the other 4 were too young.

Can you imagine people old enough to be considered adults but young enough to have never even heard of REM? I know it doesn't seem possible but none the less. The closest I got to Mr. Snipes was his friend asking me for the bathroom.

In person, he looks like he should eat a sandwich.
